FAQ's Here – LDS Oil Vials

FAQ's Here

  • What are the vials dimensions and weight?

Our vials are 46mm x 13mm diameter,  they weigh 1.1oz empty and hold 1/3 oz of oil, enough for dozens of blessings.

  • What are the vials made of?

They are made of solid brass with a silver matte coating that protects the brass surface.  All exposed brass surfaces will gain a darker 'patina' over time. This is a normal coloration of exposed brass over time. It can be polished with a brass or silver polish to gain the sparkling original look if desired.

  • Is there an interior glass oil reservoir?

No, you pour the oil directly into the vial. It has a built-in non-removable plastic liner inside for the oil.  Our older vials from pre-2014 did have a glass insert, which can be purchased from us on request if yours has broken or was lost.

  • What if a name or date is misspelled or engraved incorrectly?  Will you refund my purchase price?

We engrave exactly what you submit online.  You will receive an instant email with the names and/or dates you have submitted prior to our engraving it. Please review it! If we engrave what you submitted, there are no refunds or returns.  However, if the error is ours, we will either replace the vial no charge with the correct spelling or refund your money in full.

  • What if I receive my vial, and everything is spelled correctly, but I am not happy with the quality of the vial or engraving?

If you are unhappy with the product for any reason, please return it to us, in the gift box it came in, for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. (our address is on the 'Contact Us' page). Return shipping is not covered.

  •  How long have you been offering these vials for sale?

We started engraving vials in 2004.  To date we have engraved over 900 vials for priesthood holders nationwide.

  • Do you ship Internationally?

We will ship anywhere in the world, however we will only ship via FedEx for international shipping. This is because we have tried less expensive shippers (ie USPS etc) and found the error rate (non-delivery, lost delivery) too high, which creates very frustrated customers.  If FedEx is too expensive for your country, consider letting us ship free to a friend or relative in the USA, and have them ship to you via your carrier of choice.
